From Riverfest 2012, Snoop Dogg performs the finale show on the Bud Light Stage. Many Arkansans appreciated the apparent support of the Razorbacks from the entertainer.
Silversun Pickups revisted
Sometimes, it’s nice to go back and revisit photos from a show a while back. This time, it’s the “triple bill” Silversun Pickups show from September, 2009. Cage The Elephant and Manchester Orchestra opened for the band, in a 500 seat venue that, I don’t think, was completely sold out. What a difference a couple of years makes, as all three bands have gained popularity. Anytime you can see an up-and-coming group in a venue that holds only a few hundred, you should definitely do it.
Silversun Pickups releases their new album, “Neck Of The Woods,” on May 8th.
Awolnation
Indie Pop band, Awolnation, stops at Revolution Music Room on their Megalithic Symphony Tour. Backlit by a huge red “AH” logo, Aaron Bruno energetically pleased the near sell-out crowd with a 75 minute show.
The Love Live Music Facebook page noted they hadn’t ever seen so many cameras recording, and probably “Instagraming,” during the band’s mega hit, “Sail.”
